Abstract Introduction Angioplasty, with or without stenting, is a nonsurgical procedure to open blocked narrowed coronary arteries due underlying atherosclerosis. While there ample literature on heart disease research, the search found no bibliographic studies that quantified angioplasty studies. This study was initiated using bibliometric analysis identify trends in over past twenty years. Methods The data searched from Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). included 11,429 published between 2001 and 2021 downloaded WoSCC. CiteSpace V.5.8.was used analyze intellectual structure upcoming patterns. Results Over last two decades, number publications this discipline has decreased.
